about

someone told me I should Look DA Part (ha ha ha) I grew up 5'4 in the country hills at an all white school, bumping Public Enemy, years later went to Roosevelt Long Island, NY to Chuck D's house and recorded with PE producer Legendary DJ Johnny Juice! OH- ha ha ha...
I will LOOK Da Part the way GOD made me!

I actually went to New York on 9/9/11 to the Terrordome Studio. I had a show the following day at an African Heritage Festival. After the show, I spoke to Legendary DJ Johnny Juice about getting back in the studio. My friend Prince (his brother is POP is one of the main S1W's) grew up with PE. He showed me Roosevelt Long Island (which is 1 square mile). He showed the house that Eddie and Charlie Murphy grew up in, along with the houses that Dr J, Flavor Flav, the members of the Bomb Squad, and the house Howard Stern grew up in. I also went to the Centennial Park (the park that made Dr J famous). I was SO blown away by everything I saw in this little town. I wanted to capture all of this in my song I was writing "Look Da Part". We went back to the Terrordome studio. I told Juice I needed time to get my 2nd verse together. By the time I got in the vocal box it was midnight 9/11/11. It hit me hard! 10 years ago on this exact date Public Enemy #1 (the Cowards) hit our TOWERS. I was working at WQXA-FM in Central Pa the home of Howard Stern. I will never forget listening to Howard live in New York City while all of this was going on. 10 years later I am at Chuck's, a block from Howard's LOOK DA PART Fight DA POWERS!

lyrics

I can change a lot I am not one of those things, if you want that done talk to the King of all Kings.
I am here to help you win, these are championship rings, each piece of glory my story that it brings.
Light Skinned brotha all white Pigeon Hills, bumping public enemy running suicide drills. Captain of the squad standing 5 foot four, relentless full court on the basketball floor. Slippery Rock U, I played division 2 just because it was something someone said I couldn’t do. Drive to Bmore blackest city number 2, SOULBLOCK.COM leader 92Q. Wonder Stevie Blind was Michael Black or White? GOD’S eyes judge me at the end of the night. Look Da Part if you want the whole goal this white boy grins with a Gold black soul!
